Summer Madness: New Friend

Same story as Friend. She was gone before I could take those art lessons, but she left me with watercolor my new friend. This is one of my first watercolor paintings. Watercolor to me is the most beautiful of the paint styles I know of or have tried. The ability to have the paper breathe in your work, the surprise that comes from colors mixing, the spread of the water it gives me that rapid experimentation and surprise that I love and live for. And I can move quickly and still create gorgeous, intentional works.
