Summer Madness: Etude 2

Summer is my favorite time of the year, and like a wild person with tons of ideas, it seems to be the time when I work the most. And when I work the most I end up in unique situations sometimes really amazing, sometimes challenging. I think it's from the longer days, or the euphoria that comes from the weather, but like a madman I just create. For all my work I'm interested in capturing human emotions and feelings, particularly unposed, and ideally without real people. I never use references everything I draw is a full reaction to what I see, what I'm feeling, and what I'm going through at the moment. This is an interesting one. Despite having so many things to focus on that summer, I still forced myself to finish this piece. It's one of my favorite pieces, and I wonder if it's because of the amount of time and effort I put into it. I prefer to move quickly and freely with my work, but despite having so much to do and questioning whether or not it was selfish to work on my art, I kept pushing and I love it.
